Description of the Monk

The monk had sleeves that were covered with grey fur, his hood fastened at his chin, and he wore a gold pin. He was bald and fat.

The narrator liked the monk, and agreed with his views. He agreed with the monks veiws that he shouldn't be seperated from the world.

I think that the monk wasnt a typical monk. As the text says, this monk liked to hunt. But according to the text back in those days, hunters were considered "unholy". Most monks are also very humble. They dont buy a lot of expensive things. This monk had lots of nice, fine, expensive things.
